AGHS Scholarships

  • Dave Ross Memorial Scholarship Application - Due March 25, 2027

    Two $500 scholarships are available. Open to AGHS graduating seniors in the CTE Culinary Program who are currently working in the local restaurant industry.

  • ELKS Teen of the Month - Due Monthly on the SECOND FRIDAY by 4 p.m.

    Arroyo Grande High School counseling team selects an AGHS Senior male and female each month based on achievements, character, leadership, service, citizenship, and scholastics. The Teenagers of the Month will be recognized with a certificate at the Elk's dinner, and will then be eligible for selection for a "Teenager of the Year" Scholarship valued at $2000. The Elks members will select the Teenager of the Year finalists in April. Submit applications BY to Mrs. Oksner in the Career Center!

  • ELKS Most Valuable Student Scholarship - Due November 12, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.

    The Elks National Foundation will award 500 national 4-year scholarships to the highest rated applicants in the 2025-2026 competition. Scholarships will also be awarded at the regional & state levels. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. Must be a high school senior and US Citizen to apply. Applicants DO NOT need to be related to a member of the ELKS.

  • Rotary Club of Arroyo Grande Scholarship - Due March 1, 2027

    $10,000 scholarship spread over 4 years. Must have a 3.0 grade point average, be attending a four-year college or university, and have participated in community service activities at Arroyo Grande High School.

  • Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship - Due Nov. 12, 2026

    The Elks National Foundation will award 500 national 4-year scholarships to the highest rated applicants in the 2025-2026 competition. Scholarships will also be awarded at the regional & state levels. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. Must be a high school senior and US Citizen to apply. Applicants DO NOT need to be related to a member of the ELKS.

  • Elks CHEA Disabilities Scholarship - Due March 15, 2027

    Application opens Nov. 15, 2026; applications accepted starting Feb. 1st. The California-Hawaii Elks Major Project, Inc, is offering scholarships to students with disabilities. This is a financial needs-based and academic use scholarship intended for UNDERGRADUATE WORK at a licensed vocational school, accredited community college, or four year college/university only. The funds are to cover ACADEMIC EXPENSES which include tuition, books, lab fees and/or on-campus room and board ONLY.

  • ELKS Association Vocational Grant - Due rolling throughout the year

    The California-Hawaii Elks Association (CHEA) Vocational Grant is available for any students wishing to pursue a vocational/technical course to receive a certification, or 2 -year schooling leading directly to employment. Any eligible prospective student residing within the jurisdiction of the CHEA may apply. Student's planning to attend a 4-year college are NOT eligible. Must be a US citizen. Grants range from $500-$2000.
